Alarm: A person arrested at the Par-Dieu-de-Lyon station in France

 

One person has been arrested after an alarm sounded at Par-Die-de-Lyon station in France forcing anyone around the station to disperse. Police said a demining team was at the scene, checks had been carried out and the area had been cordoned off.

The local Lyon newspaper Le Progres reported on its website that a woman carrying various backpacks threatened to blow herself up and shouted “Allahu Akbar” (God is the greatest). Railway company SCNF said on Twitter that traffic around Lyon had been badly affected.
