Coronavirus: 267 new cases et Seven deaths in 24 hours

 

Coronavirus cases in our country show a decrease like every weekend but with a dramatic increase in deaths. Specifically, EODY announced 267 new cases of the coronavirus in the country, 22 of which are associated with known epidemics and 25 were detected following checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 19,613, of which 55.8% are men. In addition, 3,019 (15.4%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 8,025 (40.9%) are related to a known case.

At the same time, 79 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 69 years. 24 (30.4%) are women and the rest are men. 86.1% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are aged 70 and over. 219 patients were discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 7 other registered deaths and 405 deaths in total in the country. 152 (37.5%) women and the rest of men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.3% had an underlying disease and / or 70 years and over.
