Coronavirus: Attica becomes the epicenter of the pandemic with 240 new cases

 

Attica and more particularly the city of Athens are becoming the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic for our country, as announced on Tuesday by the Political Under-Secretary for Protection Nikos Chardalias and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine from the University of Athens and member of the Expert Committee of the Ministry of Health, Gikas Majorkinis.

In particular, as Mr. Majorkinis asserts, the city of Athens bears the greatest weight of the epidemiological burden of the coronavirus since of the 416 cases and 79  intubated patients announced by EODY on Tuesday 240 are in Attica. For the results on the cruise ship: There is absolutely no problem as the test subjects were negatively diagnosed (for Covid 19).
