Coronavirus: The PHEA announced 438 new case ,11 deaths and 85 intubated patients


Data on the spread of the coronavirus in Greece remains worrying. The PHEA announced 438 new cases and deaths totaled 11 for the first time. More specifically, today, Monday, 438 new cases of the coronavirus have been announced in the country, of which 62 are linked to known epidemics and 42 have been detected following checks at the entrance gates of the country. The total number of cases is 25,802, of which 55.6% are men.

Of this number, 3,560 (13.8%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 10,337 (40.1%) are related to a known case. During this time, 85 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 66.  26 (30.6%) are women and the rest are men. 94.1% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years of age or older.  258 patients were discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 11 other registered deaths and 520 deaths in total in the country. 197 (37.9%) women and the rest of men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years old and 96.2% had an underlying disease and / or 70 years and over.
