Earthquake near Alkyonides – audible in Attica

 

An earthquake of 4.2 on the Richter scale occurred in the early hours of Friday September 11 at 6 a.m. in an area of ​​the Gulf of Corinth.

The automatic solution of the Geodynamic Institute of the Observatory of Athens gives the earthquake of 4.2 Richter, with a focal depth of 5 km, and an epicenter of 26 km southwest of Thebes.

The earthquake, which lasted a long time, was felt in Athens, Piraeus and several regions.
