The list of dead from the coronavirus pandemic is growing, as a 60-year-old man ended up taking the dramatic report to 312. The 60-year-old man was admitted to Kavala hospital on August 28 and then transferred to Alexandroupolis hospital, where he ended up. On September 10, his condition deteriorated and he was admitted to intensive care.
Four days later, at 11:30 a.m. Monday night,he passed away. The 60-year-old man suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is recalled that Monday EODY announced 180 new cases of coronavirus in the country, 22 of which are associated with known epidemics and 21 were detected after checks at the front doors. The total number of cases is 13,420, of which 55.4% are men. 2419 (18.0%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 5789 (43.1%) are related to a known case.
During this time, 59 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 70 years. 12 (22.2%) are women and the rest are men. 88.9% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are aged 70 and over. 173 patients were discharged from the ICU.
