A walk in the Attica Zoological Park is a unique experience for young and old. More than 2,000 animals, from at least 360 species, are waiting for us every day of the year, from 9 in the morning until sunset, to meet and admire them in a wonderful place in Spata. With an emphasis on the combination of entertainment and education (edutainment), the Park offers its visitors a journey to the five continents and hosts mammals, birds, reptiles, insects and amphibians.
As you walk, you will meet goats, rabbits and horses, monkeys and monkeys, foxes and crickets, rams, deer, camels, giraffes, zebras and ostriches, birds, cats and lions, wolves, bears and bears, giant turtles, crocodiles, komodo dragons, snakes, penguins, dolphins. Of course, you can drink your coffee and eat in the cafeteria in all four kiosks or have a picnic in the well-designed areas of the Park. For our little friends, there is also a playground, if they can afford it after so much walking. Children, knowing the world fauna, know the chain of life on our planet and acquire ecological and environmental consciousness from a very young age. As a member of the European Union of Zoological Parks and Aquariums, the Park applies strict ethical and professional standards of animal care and actively participates in breeding programs for endangered species.
